🌍 About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead and evolve the internal DevOps tooling ecosystem of a major enterprise client. This is not just a technical role—you will lead a team of tool support engineers, manage the CI/CD stack, ensure governance and compliance, and act as a DevOps evangelist across a large-scale, distributed organization.
You’ll be responsible for driving adoption of best practices, ensuring operational excellence, and contributing to the strategic roadmap of DevOps capabilities.
Lead and mentor the DevOps Tools Support team.
Manage workload distribution, priorities, and escalations.
Cultivate a culture of ownership, agility, and continuous improvement.
Own, optimize, and maintain the toolchain: Jenkins, Git (GitLab/GitHub/Bitbucket), Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, Artifactory, etc.
Ensure reliability, performance, and compliance of the entire DevOps stack.
Collaborate with security and compliance to align on governance.
Onboard new teams into the DevOps ecosystem.
Promote CI/CD and DevOps standards across engineering teams.
Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and tool integration.
Contribute to the strategic roadmap of the DevOps platform.
Evangelize modern DevOps practices: Infrastructure as Code, containerization, observability, etc.
5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Jenkins, Git (Bitbucket/GitLab/GitHub)
CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
Docker, Kubernetes
AWS
Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
Experience leading a DevOps support team or platform team.
Familiarity with governance, security, and compliance in enterprise environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work autonomously and influence organizational change.
Experience in enterprise IT environments with complex toolchains.
Background in change management, ITSM, or regulatory compliance.
Familiarity with GitHub Advanced Security or similar tooling.
If you’re a technical leader who thrives in complex environments and wants to champion DevOps excellence at scale, we want to hear from you.
