Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced VTEX Developer to join our dynamic team. As a VTEX Developer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining e-commerce solutions on the VTEX platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, scalable, and robust solutions that meet business objectives and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and customize e-commerce solutions on the VTEX platform according to project requirements and best practices.

2. Collaborate with designers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to create engaging and user-friendly online shopping experiences.

3. Implement VTEX APIs, integrations, and extensions to enhance platform functionality and integration with third-party systems.

4. Optimize website performance, including page load times, responsiveness, and overall user experience.

5. Troubleshoot and debug issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to ensure system stability and reliability.

6. Stay up-to-date with VTEX platform updates, new features, and industry trends to recommend improvements and best practices.

7. Work closely with project managers, QA engineers, and other team members to ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.

8. Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster continuous learning and development within the team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Proven experience developing e-commerce solutions on the VTEX platform, with a strong understanding of VTEX APIs, tools, and architecture.

- VTEX IO

- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.

- Experience with version control systems such as Git.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.

- VTEX certification(s) is desirable but not required.
