This is a high-visibility role working closely with sales, delivery, and executive teams to shape strategy, define architectures, and guide customers through complex decisions—from initial pitch to signed contract.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

📐 Solution Strategy & Proposal Development

  • Co-create client-specific engagement models and technical strategies with sales, product, and delivery leaders.

  • Lead technical discovery and propose architectures for digital product builds, modernization projects, and managed services.

  • Craft SOWs, architecture diagrams, and pricing models for scalable solutions.

🏗️ Operating Models & Architecture

  • Translate customer needs into cloud-native architectures and operating structures with clear SLAs and team models.

  • Define feasibility, delivery strategy, and scope, bridging sales and engineering.

💼 Commercial Structuring

  • Partner with sales to shape competitive commercial proposals, contracts, and engagement frameworks.

  • Advise during deal strategy, technical negotiations, and final delivery sign-off.

📦 Reusable Assets & Playbooks

  • Build and maintain solution templates, decks, reusable frameworks, and value positioning materials.

  • Evangelize best practices across the presales lifecycle.

🧑‍💼 Client Advisory & Collaboration

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor in high-stakes client conversations.

  • Represent Tekton’s value proposition across technical, delivery, and business domains.

🎯 Required Qualifications & Experience

✅ Must-Have:

  • 6+ years in software development or technical architecture roles.

  • 3+ years in presales, solution design, or sales engineering roles.

  • Strong knowledge of modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps principles, and Agile delivery models.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript and backend with at least one: C# (.NET), Node.js, or Java.

  • Experience creating technical artifacts like diagrams, decks, and high-level designs.

  • Comfortable with CRM and presales tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Notion).

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders.

  • Fluent English communication—both technical and business-level.

  • Experience with managed services transitions (SRE, DevOps, ITSM).
  • Consulting experience across multiple industries.
  • Background in customer success or client delivery leadership.
