To do this, we are looking to integrate a Spectrum Power System Administrator into our team.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Availability to participate in on-call rotations and occasional travel as required.

Responsibilities
• Installation of Spectrum Power system and related software components.
• Ensuring uninterrupted operation and optimal performance of complex network control systems.
• Performing system maintenance and preventive tasks to ensure system reliability and security.
• Applying updates, upgrades, and patches to keep systems up-to-date and secure.
• Analyzing system faults, identifying root causes, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Documenting project details and customer requirements for effective communication and future reference.
• Providing consultation, support, and technical concepts to internal teams and external clients.
• Developing and implementing IT infrastructure concepts to support Spectrum Power systems.
• Conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to verify system functionality and performance.

Skills
• Proficiency in backup and restore procedures for system data protection.
• Knowledge of network technologies, LAN setup, firewalls, Portmatrix, and implementation concepts.
• Experience with patching, updating, upgrading, and managing software cadences.
• Expertise in software configuration management and version control systems.
• Competence in Spectrum Computer Network Management (CNM) and Spectrum Power System Administration.
• Ability to install and configure Spectrum Power systems and related tools.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms and features, including high availability and load balancing.
• Application of Spectrum Power-specific analytical skills for system optimization.
• Understanding of network control and management systems.
• Experience in software integration and build processes.
• Programming Skills: Shell scripting, Python, SQL, JavaScript, Git
