We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join a fast-paced team developing a high-traffic skill-based gaming platform with 200K-300K monthly active users (MAU). ๐ Key Responsibilities
๐ฒ iOS Development & Feature Acceleration
- โ Work primarily on the iOS Launcher App, handling game selection, offers, payments, contests, and user interactions.
- โ Focus on small feature work across multiple areas, improving core app stability and accelerating feature delivery.
- โ Implement UI-heavy development while ensuring maintainability and scalability.
๐ Codebase & Architecture
- โ Work on a 3-year-old app with 100K+ lines of code, transitioning towards cleaner architecture patterns (MVVM+C).
- โ Collaborate with a small but highly skilled team (3-5 engineers) and a Lead Engineer based in San Francisco (Pacific Time Zone).
- โ Leverage Swift, Firebase, REST APIs, and CocoaPods to optimize app performance and stability.
๐ Agile Development & Deployment
- โ Follow a Kanban-based workflow with bi-weekly releases using feature flags (no large feature branches).
- โ Maintain high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code while ensuring quick feature rollouts.
- โ Optimize for speed vs. maintainability when working on UI-related improvements.
๐ฏ Required Qualifications & Experience
โ Must-Have:
- ๐น 5+ years of iOS development experience.
- ๐น Strong expertise in Swift & MVVM+C architecture.
- ๐น Experience integrating with Firebase & REST APIs.
- ๐น Solid knowledge of CocoaPods for dependency management.
- ๐น Strong focus on UI-heavy development and maintainable code.
- ๐น Ability to quickly adapt to an existing Swift codebase.
- ๐น Availability until 3 PM Pacific Time for collaboration.
- ๐น Advanced English communication skills (written & spoken).
