To do this, we are looking to integrate a Spectrum Power SCADA Engineer into our team.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• Proven experience in SCADA engineering, preferably in the context of grid control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to SCADA systems.
• Certification or training in SCADA systems would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
• Engaging in discussions with customers to understand SCADA business processes.
• Adapting and parameterizing SCADA processes to meet project requirements.
• Defining and adapting interfaces to external systems as needed.
• Executing tasks such as SOW (Statement of Work), Engineering, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and Maintenance.
Skills
• Proficiency in data modeling techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of SCADA business processes and integration analysis.
• Experience in typification and engineering within SCADA systems.
• Familiarity with operational tasks commonly used by Transmission System Operators (TSO) and Distribution System Operators (DSO).
• Competence in SCADA database organization and sizing methodologies.
• Programming Skills: Python, Perl, PowerShell, SQL, HTML
